We had planned to go to Clearwater beach that day so we went off in the car, there were traffic jams for miles and when we arrived near the beach realised it was going to cost $20-30 to park for the day.     We are leaving for Alaska in about 3 weeks! We plan to be gone until mid-October. It is a long drive, especially from Florida! We have spent the last 3 months preparing. We have mapped out the itinerary, made modifications to the camper and bought many things to be used on the trip. That in and of itself has been a journey.

    ... as soon as we boarded, so we dropped our carryons, and headed to Cagney's for lunch. Started with a Shrimp Cocktail, for Dad.

    Our room was very spacious. and so was the balcony. There were 2 regular chairs, and a small cocktail type table, as well as 2 loungers on that balcony...score for us!
