I also had iced tea and some hot coffee. They didn't serve hot tea, and I needed something to keep me alert for the afternoon service. ... morning from Roy Fouch, on Death & Dying. I had about three pages of notes, and it was hard to keep up, because there was a lot of material. I wrote up my notes again afterward, because there were two people who were unable to either be there or take notes. I meant to make only one copy in the business center, but the previous user had set it to 4 copies, and I didn't know how to reset it. Good thing it wasn't set to 100 copies ...

It is difficult to fit in time to do all we would like at the Feast, but the main thing is the services and fellowship. The food for me is not a huge part of the Feast, although it is enjoyable, and it's nice to get a break from not only cooking, but having to plan meals all the time.

We had a delicious buffet breakfast this morning, in one of the hotel restaurants. We had been given 18 "free" tickets for 4 people for the whole Feast, so we'll make up the balance by eating our own cereal, etc. in our room. But it will be convenient to save four of the meal tickets for the Last Great Day.
After breakfast we did some Bible Study and I worked on this travel blog. Then it was time to get a quick lunch ...
We left our house just before 9 am on the Sabbath (26th) and drove to the Knoxville UCG congregation. It was easy to find the location, a high quality conference center with various different rooms,often apparently used for weddings, etc. Mr. Stan Martin, the pastor, was already in Jekyll Island, since he coordinates the Feast there this year.
Lacy & Frances Mayes were there, and later, Barbara & Madalene arrived. They had already ...
