In about 9 days I am leaving for San Ramon, Costa Rica. I will be in Costa Rica for five months as I spend a semester studying abroad. I have always dreamed of studying abroad and knew it was something important for me to do. While it is going to be hard to leave my family and the people I care about I know that this adventure will allow me to grow as a person. I am eager to improve my spanish skills and experience the culture. I will be leaving January 16th! I will ...

We went to breakfast with Zach (I got to ride shotgun in Roxy, and got to witness Southern friendliness firsthand), where we all over-ordered and basically died from our food consumption. Visited Whole Foods. Took a trip down the halls of PDS (far too nice), and then hung out at his house. We went to a Charlotte Knights game with his mom (his dad wasn't feeling well), which was super fun. Then we got dinner at a place with great biscuits, and just hung out some ...

... we hit Uptown Charlotte to the Hall of Fame. Wow, what a place. As a motorsport fan, this place was so well done. Heritage stuff, as well as modern cars and an interactive experience that was first rate. For the first time on this trip, I ran the camera battery out of charge, so I must have been snap happy today.
Tomorrow is another boring driving day. We have Savannah as our destination, so about 6 hours on the road. Then two and a half days of exploring this Southern ...
