    ... It lasts about 6 months even with washings. Of course, Deet is the still the best anti mosquito repellant.

    I will be putting together a First Aid Kit --- bandAids, anti bacterial wipes, Immodium, Pepto Bismol, bug spray, Aspirin, neosporin -- maybe some more little items.

    ... the entire Christmas holiday in BA....Celebrations go thru 3 Kings Day which is Jan 6. Should be lots of fun.

    We will be taking some day or overnight trips as well. Planning on going to the Iguazu Falls on our way out of Argentina. We will make more plans while we are in BA. I want to go to Peru --- Machu Picchu and Lima. Then maybe on to Columbia....

    We will have to see how the timing all goes...

    ... that we didn’t see any wildlife. We heard a few birds singing but that was all for critters. The ranger did say that there was usually one sighting of elk or bear each day.

    Here are the interesting parts of our trip from Greenville, SC to New Mexico:

    The plane from Greenville to Dallas was the smallest plane I have ever been on and for the first time in my life, I actually had to duck my head when walking down the aisle. Sure I am 6 feet tall but usually the planes--even the small ones--have a clearance of 6 feet. The overhead bins were so tiny the man beside us struggled to ...
