    ... anyway when the rest of the group arrived I decided that I should really see a doctor. I'm glad I did although $200 later, 2 lots of antibiotics at 6 pills a day for 10 days isn't much fun. At least my leg is less swollen and getting better each day. On the plus side I did get to eat at a real local eatery called Taco Petes, ate huevos rancheros and tried my first and not my last horcahata - I love this drink!!     ... we'd see a Border Patrol SUV pass by on that gravel road. Often they would be dragging three big truck tires behind them -- To cover their tracks? To make it easier to see footprints?     ... but a refreshing change from the beer.

    We jumped on a bus back to town and found our way back to the River-walk. Headed straight back to '***** Last Resort where we had been earlier for lunch, this time with the NZ flag in tow. We got to meet a cool family group who had travelled up from Laredo. They were great fun and we spent the rest of the night joking around with them.

    Around 3am we pulled up stumps and stumbled back to the room. Big sleep coming !
