It was sprinkling this morning, but we decided to drive down to Amish Country in Arthur and Arcola, Illinois.  Found out that the man who developed The Raggedy Ann and Andy Dolls was from Arcola.  It also is the corn broom capital of the US.  We found the Amish community and was just amazed at all the buggy traffic in the area.  Saw an Amish school with all the beautiful little children.  ...

... fun. It had a bathroom and four beds. Definitely musty...guess the air conditioning isn't on all the time. :/ It's sad to think that kids may not even know what those little red cars did. :) But, that's where adults who run a park like this can bring that fun into our lives. :) I've spent today hanging out with family before they left Peoria and driving to near Pontiac to hang out at my aunt/uncle's house. They live in the country....with a GREAT view from their pool ...
