... the breeze picked up, it was nice.

The kids had a chance to hit the outdoor pool for an hour or so before we turned in. There are some storms rolling in tonight. I see lightening but not sure what is going to happen. They have flood warning through Wednesday but we haven't seen any rain. We are off to Little Rock tomorrow. We may take our time leaving OKC because it's a nice little town.
We will see what tomorrow brings.

It was a quinessential old style diner and, as we have noticed every where in the South, the people were so friendly and enjoyed chatting with us. They always want to know where "ya'all" are from and headed :) It was another perfect Historic Route 66 moment!

We enjoyed the rolling hills of Oklahoma noticed it had the beautiful red soil like Georgia and Kaua'i.

... around 4:00 so we could feed Harley and let him roam around a bit. It was a beautiful spot and had picnic tables under shade enclosures sprinkled around the area. I don’t see rest stops like this out west. They really do them right here. Harley had a good time and is always happy when a stop included a meal.

Further up the road we were passed by a motor home that was hauling a Jeep behind it. Behind the Jeep was a trailer ...

Excuse the title. The whole time I was in Oklahoma I was dying to sing this to people! Okay so first of all I need to applaud Oklahoma Children's hospital because from what I saw on the few days I was their, they have a great system for caring for children and adolescents with mental health problems. They have an adolescent clinic that runs from 9am Monday to Friday that has a Nurse, two Adolescent Doctors, ...
