      Saying Goodbye to Tennessee

I had bacon, eggs, and toast for breakfast which was free from the hotel. I am sad to see Tennessee in my rearview mirror but I am headed to Atlanta. I drove through the mountains and then stopped for lunch at Chipotle for $9.30. I only ate half and will finish the rest for dinner. I stopped for gas in Atlanta at Chevron for $36.90.

Although we were only able to address a few ills of the world, we did have fun trying. As we depart onto our next stop, we bid a fond farewell and heartfelt thanks to Lisa and Phil for opening up their home and sharing their lives with us. They epitomize what family is all about.

We got out photo taken at a "news desk' and I found out that she kept it at her desk all these years. I KNEW there was no reason to have a web cam at my house! Anyone wanting to see me could just go over to Donna's desk. ;-)

Our first proper day out in Atlanta. Much better then the first day we arrived. We both feel much better about the city now. The Marta is the transport system which is used here. It has been really easy and straight forward to navigate around so far. Ok so the zoo was lovely. We had a really great day, we saw ...

Well, after being really proactive and getting the camper's spare tire (it bounced off of Chanel going through Boston last summer) and interior lights (required a new converter box) fixed this week, I went out to the Channing cul-de-sac to make up MC's bed and rearrange a few things before we leave tomorrow. This was around 3:30pm. I loaded up some new camping chairs and took out a shoebox full of old tapes I have optimistically have had ...
