Departure
When I planned this journey, my life was in a different place.
Make no mistake, excitement builds in me as I am driven to the airport for what will be an expedition of twenty two days taking me to new places, new cultures and, well, new everything. But, there is newness at home that puts this trip on notice that if any part of it lags I will be homesick.

We went over to the National Park HQ, but ran out of time to take a tour of his home. We did watch the movie at the HQ, which I would recommend as it gives the house some historic ...
