We started our "Western Trip" this afternoon. Morning was cleaning the house and "closing" procedures for the winter. Uneventful but beautiful weather for "boondocking".  Casino was not nice to me, so after dinner and walks with Maggie May, we went to bed anticipating a long drive the next ...

Spending the 21st catching up with my best friend of 20 years and ending the 22nd with dinner with my closest friends and another trip to the airport

We were soon back on the road again and all was good. A short distance in Indiana and then we reached Ohio where we spent a good deal of time, and finally PA. At some point in PA, we figured we would reach home around 6 PM - so we called Enterprise ...

... another hour through some beautiful countryside dotted with farms, only to be greeted by a traffic jam 7 kilometers (4 miles) from our destination of Grand Bend. After a 45 minute slow crawl, we were greeted by Colleen's cousin, Karen, and spent the evening catching up with her and husband, Rob. We sat out in their lovely, private backyard and enjoyed a drink before ordering up dinner from a local eatery. It's good to land in one place for a few days.
