... State Museum, Central Canal, Veterans Memorial, Soldiers Monument and Wrigley (Victory) Field. The trail was a very good way to see the city. It was marked out nice and obviously so that you couldn't get lost and it has a separate path making it easy to get around and not have to worry about pedestrians.

It was a lovely, bright morning when I arrived in one of the many parking lots outside the Indianapolis Motor Speedway shortly after 7am where I found thousands already parked, many with the tailgate party well underway. I made my way to the track to soak up the atmosphere and what an atmosphere it was. Chatting to one of the old boys polishing a completely original 65 Mustang GT350, as you do… We discovered he has owned an original 289 Shelby Cobra from new! This may not mean much to some, but to others that know how rare, an original, aluminium bodied Shelby Cobra is, let alone a one owner from new… WOW !...
