The day didn't start so well, the taxi picked me up big I had left my charger at the hostel so we had to turn around and double the fare. I also managed to do a classic Sassy moment and booked the wrong day at the Hotel in Clearwater. Anyway, after the 8.5 hour bus journey to Tampa which was relatively painless. I got a cab to Clearwater, on the …
We're now further up the coast in St. Pete's Beach, FL. Sunny Florida has gone a bit cool on us with cloudy skies. We walked on the beautiful St. Pete's beach every day, sometimes twice a day, and generally relaxed, reading and watching tv. This is a summer vacation town and there's not much else to do here, especially in the off season.

There was a Viking ship ride that swung ...
... we had to wait ages because the lady couldn't close the door. The trolley took us to a place that tells you all about the movie. There was an area where you could walk through and see Sawyer's house and half way through you could feel a hurricane, just like in the movie. There were lots of games there as well.
We drove back and had a swim.
Then we had tea at an Italian place. I had lasagne.
