The day didn't start so well, the taxi picked me up big I had left my charger at the hostel so we had to turn around and double the fare. I also managed to do a classic Sassy moment and booked the wrong day at the Hotel in Clearwater. Anyway, after the 8.5 hour bus journey to Tampa which was relatively painless. We're now further up the coast in St. Pete's Beach, FL. Sunny Florida has gone a bit cool on us with cloudy skies. We walked on the beautiful St. Pete's beach every day, sometimes twice a day, and generally relaxed, reading and watching tv. ... we moved on to a different section with some terrific rides. The all new Falcon's Fury takes you up a 60ft pole, then the seats swing back so you're looking directly at the ground, all you body weight trusted to the harness for a few, looong seconds, before it lets go and you rush to the ground, swinging back to a seated position at the last second. There was a Viking ship ride that swung ...

... we had to wait ages because the lady couldn't close the door. The trolley took us to a place that tells you all about the movie. There was an area where you could walk through and see Sawyer's house and half way through you could feel a hurricane, just like in the movie. There were lots of games there as well.

We drove back and had a swim.

Then we had tea at an Italian place. I had lasagne.
