First time!
First time on my board in 5 years! Needless to say, I was VERY excited about heading out to the hill. The whole mountain wasn't open yet but that's ok. I needed to warm up anyway.
The day wasn't the best, but it wasn't terrible either. There was actually quite a bit of wet snow-rainish stuff going on so that the snow was quite heavy.

After discussing it all year, we finally decided to have an opposite day at the hill meaning, I would ski and Adam would snowboard.
Question: Which is harder - skiing or snowboarding? Answer: Without a doubt, snowboarding. That dilemma is absolutely answered and if anyone argues, well, they've never tried both!

Back in the USA
Leaving such a beautiful campground and the surrounding mountains was hard but home was calling so we broke camp and headed down from the pass. We stopped in Mount Revelstoke National Park to walk along the Giant Cedars boardwalk. The Giant Cedars is a section of the park with old growth forest and cedar trees over 500 years old.
In Revelstoke we crossed the Columbia River and drove along the Arrow Lake until the road ended at Shelter Bay ...
