First time!

First time on my board in 5 years! Needless to say, I was VERY excited about heading out to the hill. The whole mountain wasn't open yet but that's ok. I needed to warm up anyway.
The day wasn't the best, but it wasn't terrible either. There was actually quite a bit of wet snow-rainish stuff going on so that the snow was quite heavy.

Short Drive today from Kelowna BC to Castlegar. Nice drive. Big river in Castlegar, the Solcan and the Columbia Rivers meet so much clear water. I must say the tap water over here is like drinking rain water. Have only had to buy two bottles of water and keep refilling them. Off to See Mindy Creber tomorrow in Cranbrook BC. Will be great to see her again and hear about how all the kids are doing.... Getting a tad excited ...

Shambhala and beyond!!

We got a lift down to Shambhala from Calgary with the friends we made at Motion Notion Festival, it was a 7hr drive and it poured down the whole way! But everytime we stopped for fuel the rain would stop too, it was crazy! We arrived at shambhala early wednesday morning, and had to wait 10hrs in the blistering heat to get a camping spot! But it was an amazing location.

Come the following day, Jordie turned 25!!! yahhhooooo!!!!
