After 50 miles we stop to refuels and have a cold drink, then it's back on the road for the last push of 120 miles to Pocatello. This is all on Interstate 15 so pretty boring, apart from when the driver of an 18 wheeler trailer rig does a u-turn from the opposite carriageway right in front of Andy S, and I have a grandstand view of him ...

... mistake as it was brimming over with beers brewed on site. Great night sampling all the beers and having a laugh with Coulter behind the bar and Electronic our waitress for the night. A few photos are posted to give you a flavour.

Good news for Steve who lost his passport, he now has a temporary one to cover him for the rest of the trip. He had to ride to Los Angeles to get it though. A good 1000 mile trip!

... lucky, so I, the big spender, broke a ten into two fives and shared them with her. We picked what looked like two lucky machines of the one cent variety and went to work. We took turns playing so we both could enjoy the experience. :o) Lynn seemed to be doing much better until I went into the "bonus", whatever that was. The player to my right showed us how it worked. In the end, I had as much as seventeen dollars in winnings. I played it ...

... this did happen. Temperatures ranged from the mid-30s F all the way down to 20F (that's 20, not "20s") at some of the higher elevations, and I had clear conditions early but then varying precipitation from cold rain to wet snow to pure snow, and their resultant effects on the road surfaces. As a consequence, my anticipated 7-8 hour drive ended up taking around 11 hours...had to back it down as applicable.
