... suggested we check out site 32 on top of the "mountain". This was the nicest campsite we have ever had in all our years camping! 360 views of the area and beautiful views of Snake River. The temperature was absolutely perfect mid seventies, no humidity and NO BUGS!!!!!!! A nice bbq dinner, an adult beverage (ok, maybe 2) and sleeping with all the windows open, PRICELESS!!!!!!
... I didn't stop for much in the way of photography, but today's drive did include fully mountainous terrain as well as a lot of time along plateaus; plenty of nice passing scenery. I did stop for one particularly amusing photo (left), which I also posted on my Facebook...and as predicted, it elicited a wide range and large number of responses whose content you can probably guess.

Only 189 miles today. Very smoky and I think it's getting worse. This is just over night. Tomorrow we are going to Willard Bay State Park outside of Ogden UT. Just waiting here till the weekend is over. Bill had to replace the gear box on the right front jack. Maybe now it will be ok! Not much traffic today which was nice. 89 degrees here
