    ... city was named after a 19th century Paiute chief who lived in the area. Basque immigrants tended sheep in the area beginning in the mid 19th century. The Central Pacific Railroad reached Winnemucca in 1868. The First National Bank was robbed by Butch Cassidy in 1900. The town is the home of the Buckaroo Hall of Fame and Heritage Museum.

    So yes, the I-80 corridor is somewhat devoid of population centers but tomorrow we travel the even more desolate Highway 95 to Boise.

    ... hasn't helped Ben mend so we spent the
    afternoon at home. The kids learnt to play marbles which is a dice

    was yelling (happy yelling) by halfway through.
