          ... Spain 35/37 degrees but it's the humidity that makes it unbearable. Texas and New Orleans were the worst for that. If you can imagine walking round in a constant sauna with no breeze and it felt so heavy the air that it was hard to stand in it.           ... są przystosowane do grubych ludzi, w supermarketach są specjalne wózki dla "niepełnosprawnych", żeby nie trzeba było nawet chodzić po sklepie, żeby kupić słodycze. Słowem: nic, tylko żreć.

          Mam wrażenie, że Amerykanie wychodzą z domu tylko po to, żeby urozmaicić sobie posiłek i zjeść go w innej scenerii. Poszliśmy na kręgle, gdzie my graliśmy, a inni jedli ...

          ... eucalyptus, black Angus cattle instead of Hereford, all wood fences instead of 7 strands of wire.

          Lunch was at a Texas Bar B Cue joint in Palestine. I was drawn to it by the large number of cars outside. The sandwich was delicious. Seems like everyone in town showed up for takeout or a meal. The owner's best friend (who had served in the Army then come home to work with his buddy) said it had been going for thirty years.
