... rest of the evening on the phone with my friend, Sylwia and various vets. We had to make the heartbreaking decision to put him to sleep as they didn’t think he would survive the night and was in pain. We can never put into words how horrible that was but are so thankful that Sylwia was there with him and that we were able to say goodbye via Skype. We are eternally grateful to her for all she did for us, Tigger and Jax.

Tomorrow we are off into Manhattan for a big day of sightseeing, so bye for ...

... inside the Ugg Boot shop, nor could I believe the security guy minding the front door. These Ugg Boots must be expensive and in demand.

My word, it was a long...long...day!

Ultimately we filled the car boot and then headed home.

    Sorry, no Ugg Boots though.

Tomorrow Sam and I are going to the park to kick the footy. We haven't done that since he was 15 and playing for Goodwood Saints.

... quarters for several weeks at a time so that you can work out all of the kinks. So if we manage to make it back to Austin without killing either one of them, we'll be ready for next year. At least that's the general idea.

Our original plan was to rent an RV and drive West. We bought the big book that lists every RV park in the U.S. (it's huge) and checked into the cost of renting one of these recreational vehicles. But by ...
