      ... bathrooms were locked after 9pm and unlocked at 7am. A look of sheer terror on Dolly's face - as she has the bladder capacity of a sewing thimble. This morning, although, we found the bathroom open at 5:30am, I don't think they were locked overnight.
      Once again, we have to slow down. We have 10 days to go 500 miles to Eureka/Arcata/McKinleyville.

      Today Dale and I started making a mega list of everything we need to take; underlining those items we still need to buy. We decided to just rent down sleeping bags rather than spend $600+ per bag. We will also rent a tent for the 3 kids. We'll use our Coleman tent for us, it’s a little heavier than a backpack tent but we already own it and it is only a couple of pounds more.

      I am returning to Bogota, Colombia after 22 years. I will return with my husband and my two children and my father. My family is from Colombia. Its a reunion of sorts.
      We are excited and looking forward to seeing my family.
