Crossing into Utah, you come across the world famous Bonneville Salt Flats. This is the location of so many land speed records over the years.

The salt flats cover over 30,000 acres. In 1914 a man by the name of Teddy Tezlaff obtained a speed record of 141.73 miles per hour.

The afternoon ride was good too, not what we expected from the desert. We got into Wendover 3:30 our time 4:30 there in Utah. Dinner, a swim, downloads etc, then bed.

Pretty good food there, and I loved the raspberry ice tea, had 3 glasses of it. Europe can learn a thing or 2 from US restaurants like bottomless drinks!
Dinner in we went back to the hotel, time to crash. As tomorrow is another big travel day towards Yellowstone National Park.
