... fastest route there. At one point, we must've turned in error and ended up following a garbage/recycling truck into a private drive-- argh! Finally, though, we did arrive at our destination. We pondered whether to brave a trip into the big city to visit an aunt and uncle and decided to do just that. Lo and behold they have built a wonderful by-pass, Stony Trail, and we only saw downtown in the distance, just how we like it.

... truly enjoying himself. And when he gets a stuffed animal, oh my goodness its actually bizarre how much Guido loves stuffies, but also very cute.
Next we have Nolan. He is the youngest in our group and also the newest member. He actually didn't join our group until mid-august so I imagine it must have been difficult coming into a group that already knew each other and the community. He also came just after Valerie left,, and it is a difficult thing to fill a hole not ready ...
... and I have realized that its not in my best interests to return to my old life... I don't really want it back. My best friend Daniela has offered to let me come live with her in Ottawa until we leave for Peru, and I am seriously considering it. It's 530 in the morning and Blake Shelton is saying it's time to get up, so up we get a little groggy but well rested. We quickly pack up our gear and hop back on the highway headed to Canmore for some much needed coffee, eat a muffin from the snack stash we brought with us and buy some water for our hike ahead. Looking back on it now we definitely should off had more than a muffin and coffee prior to this hike and we also should of gotten some fuel. ...
