Just to let anyone not aware of who Jim is….my Grandma and his mum were sisters and grew up in Salamanca. Jim Brown and his 2 brothers have lived there their whole lives. Jim lives just 2 doors down from his brothers who live in what was their parents’ house. I’ve heard many stories from my mum about them but was pretty young when I met them so had no memories.

We slept in late, which was good. We had a six hour drive home. Oh no, six hours with Garmin and Kim telling me how to drive. Because it was a holiday weekend, there were a lot of cops on the Ohio highways. After a few close calls, I slowed down a little. After I got through Columbus, I turned Garmin off. I could not find the off switch for Kim, so she back-seat drove for most of the trip!!!

Hmmm. You may have noticed that I attended the 100th anniversary of the Indy 500 a few years ago. During both World Wars, there was no racing in America, so there was less than 100 races in those 100 years.
