... SEA Today has been an interesting one. We had planned to walk the Cannonball Trail - 400 years of Norfolk and American history all wrapped up in a 2 hour walk along the waterfront and through Downtown Norfolk. Brian took one look at the waterfront and was "a goner". 1 shower, 4 people....share and play nicely with others. Is this hotel room getting smaller? Nope! It's just fine. Very comfortable. 1:00pm- we are at the Roanoke park area. About to watch a "worth-it" short film on the history. ... lightning which at one point knocked out the street lights. Surveying the scene outside, we ordered room service, during which the conversation above happened. The irony is that the ribs that came were posh ones in a gourmet sauce, so you can imagine the thoughts of the person taking the order - 'gourmet ribs, and crisps?'
