Virginia is probably my favorite state in the Southeast. After spending the previous day on secondary roads I spent most of the day on freeways … and was terrified that I’d never get there. The freeways are very fast and BUSY with traffic. I stopped at a rest area and crossed the freeway by way of an overpass to have a look at a view from the other side and could hardly stay upright because of the wind, so, clearly the wind was contributing to my fear on the road.
