... with some significant modificatons required. Should be quite a project.
Monday was a catch up day - laundry, a little TV, shopping. Then Tuesday we hit the road again and headed north on our way to the Upper Peninsula (UP) in Michigan. We stayed overnight in Rochester, MN, as there were some antique stores we wanted to catch and they weren't open until Wednesday. So we'll have a short day on Tuesday, then head north again Wednesday.
... face. The next couple days will be somewhat painful as the pain meds wear off and she is up and walking around. The surgeon was quite satisfied with the procedure and is hopeful for a significant reduction in her back pain. We will not know the extent of the pain reduction for several weeks.

... MO minus Boxcar Willie. But the crane place is marvelous. The Jaeck's have several pairs of sand cranes living in the wetlands behind them, great to see them swoop in with that 6 foot wing span. Sadie did not know what to think.

Corn & Soybean & windmills......and then some more!
We had a pleasant ride through the farm land of WI, across the Mississippi River into MN ..more really big farms, fields of corn and soybeans. Mystery Caves State Park was a nice stay; hardwoods, large sites and very clean. We visited the historic village of Forestville… ...
... great dinner too. I spent the night and actually slept pretty well . . . My sleep has been wacky.
Perhaps my favorite thing was seeing how Dorothy and Isabella were together. Isabella is a poised, charming and beautiful young lady who will be a freshman in High School this year. Dorothy is obviously a great mom . . . And watching them reminded me of how Stephanie and Lori were together. Something truly beautiful about mothers like that.
