... Thruway one stop past where I should have. There was a little confusion because the bridge road over the canal was closed for repair. I finally found the Onondaga Lake Park parking lot and went in search of the Mud Lock - first point of interest in my guide book. It took awhile - no one in the park seemed to know where the Mud Lock was, but I located a map and saw a trail to it. I took my bike out for the short ride: 1 mile round trip.
