We headed back to the fairgrounds and found a spot to stay and
figured we would leave a message on the voicemail and see what happened. Well
we got an answer when we called this time and found out it was $25 a night.
What the heck. A little steeper for what we were getting but We were already
parked so we found the envelops at a nearby building and put the money under
the door. It was quite and we had the whole place to ourselves.
After fairly on/off night of sleep, I met up with all my fellow Trekkies in the lobby with the tour guide Emily. All seemed very nice, after paper work and introductions we headed for the trek van to start the long road trip. We had one guy missing as he missed being at the hotel for when the trek left, we all wasn't sure if he was going to join us or not. The last few days have been awesome. I am in Geneva, New York right now. Yesterday, after a lovely much needed twelve hours of sleep, I woke up to some delicious french toast and then set out for a day of shopping in the North Side of Cincinnati with Spencer. She showed me all of these cool vintage shops and record stores and we had lunch at a place called Melt where I got a delicious veggie chicken panini. After shopping, we went home and had ...
... as we were on the right road, we would just keep going until we got to the Hilton Garden. So, so wrong. We were on paths, not roads, out in the middle of somewhere.
