I scoff down my lunch and we get a cab (cause Jem and Dan don’t walk or get the subway… I’ll change that) to Chinatown. ... called Beny's. I had a spinach and goat cheese cigar (which was a crispy crepe with the goodies stuffed inside and rolled into a cigar shape) and a hazelnut macaroon. I'm on a mission to try macaroons all over the city! I had some in Chelsea my first day. I think they were pink champagne and lychee with raspberry. They were both delicious. As was the hazelnut. ... full well 1 day is not enough to do NYC, and this is why I'm going back for a few days this week to make the most of it. But it was probably due to the weather or how tired we were after 2 weeks of none stop drinking, but going out in New York was not all I though it would be.
