... of protesters. We can't believe that of all the places we have agreed to meet her, we picked this spot and there are literally thousands of people blocking the street! We later learn there were 315,000 protesters here! They are marching for climate change. I text Jen to tell her to stay off the street if she can. And so ends my first trans-Atlantic adventure. I am now a hardened traveller (but my bones are much weaker). By the way, the daisies Mrs T planted by my new fence before we went awy look lovely. Mr & Mrs T need to build the arch next.

I hope you both enjoy the rest of your trip and also Silverstone. Mrs T and I will probably watch Lord of The Rings.

Awoke to the first real rainy day on the trip and attempted to book a taxi to Penn station but guess what happens when it rains in The Big Apple? So no possibility at all in spite our very helpful host trying several companies. ... Pub did the trick. Right on Herald Square (where we are staying) is the famous Macy's department store, the biggest department store in the planet. We spent some time wandering here and it's like the Boxing Day sales with the amount of people around, they even have food outlets on each level including a Star Bucks, McDonalds, Ben & Jerry,s.
