Friends - we treasure them all, may they have been known for a few days, months or many years.
Meeting old ones and making new ones is a bonus during our travels and we have many happy memories of such meetings.

Having left Boston we travelled slightly west to Wellesley to meet up with another friend of a friend, Ash and Margie It was good to meet up with you both - wish we had had more time.

We rode the carousel and sat in the shade, the park was super crowded, there were more people than park there! Then we walked to Grand Central Station and we looked at the big golden clock. We tried to go up to the top balcony, but I guess you need a key for that. Oh well, we met ...

We went to Bubba Gumps for Dinner, and we had fish, chips that was served with blue jello! We came back to the hotel to pack as we are heading to Miami ...

... taxis. Inevitably we stopped off at various emporia to examine the goods and as hunger got the better of us we succumbed to that den of American iniquity, McDonald's. Our first and only visit to Macs; a quarter pounder with cheese and fries, while Steph opted for the Happy Meal (no toy, just a large plastic bucket!) We arrived at the Empire State unprepared for the ticket hawkers and their hard sell. We established it wasn't a cheap choice to whizz up to the ...
