      ... with clear water and warm winds. We poled out the Genoa just for the training exercise and cruised pleasurably along. We were kept busy pulling fish in hand over fist from the hand line astern and the rod that Craig was playing with. I saw fish biting at the the knots in the fishing line. It was definitely looking good for fishing on the banks.

      It wasn't to last. With only one painted Mackerel(like a Spanish Mackerel) of around 10kg ...

      ... colouring! When the kids realised there might get an actual prize like Toby received previously they all coloured and coloured- I have never seen the boys focus so much on colouring! Well Melinda and Nicaela were impressed so of course they had 3 categories for the prizes- 3-5 year olds, 6-8 year olds and 9-11 year olds! They all got $5 each.       ... had been in Nassau on business for several weeks. We moved out to the street patio so my husband could enjoy a Cuban cigar.

      For dinner we headed to the Bahamian Fish Fry at Arawak Cay, a short walk west. As we passed each of the tiny restaurants, the hostesses would approach us with the menu, explain why their restaurant was better than the others, and urge us to come in. ...

      ... which you had to blow up with air. Over time, the air would leak out as most of the sides were frayed. Mine kept unbuckling and I discovered that the clip was broken. Kellen's did not have a buckle at all and when he tried to return it, he was told to just tie it up. You got to be kidding right.       ... birth control etc. If you go to the hospital in Nassau you can choose either natural medicine or synthetic! We also learned there are over 700 islands in Bahamas. We learned about Pirates, ant hills, animals and more. It was worth the time and money.

      This left some time for eating! (of course) Carnival brought a bunch of food to the beach, we were NEVER hungry.
