      ... swimming beach was protected by a breakwater, so it was very calm and perfect for the kids to wade in without their floaties. They met another group of Bahamian kids there who were really fun to play with.

      We also went to our own Yamacraw Beach nearby our rental house multiple times for picnics and playtimes.

      I got ridiculously sunburned despite re-application of sunscreen. But it was so much fun.

      ... with white sandy beaches, clear blue waters and quaint huts where you can buy typical souvenirs. That night saw us having cocktails with the captain-yep 3 little Aussies sharing a wine with the captain and officers.       ... I got a lemon cake, which was way too dry and not nearly lemony enough.

      Our next stop was the piano bar. We’d had so much fun the night before, that we wanted more. And the night started off well.       ... the regular dining room and scoped out the desserts there. We both got the lemon cake and Erin got a chocolate cake and I got bread pudding. The lemon cake wasn’t very lemony and the chocolate cake wasn’t very chocolaty. My bread pudding had an expresso sauce on it, so I feared the caffeine in it and didn’t eat it. Caffeine keeps me awake.

      ... than The Bahamas and am anticipating our departure tomorrow morning for the Turks and Caicos!! After 2+ years in Florida, I'm dying to see the beautiful elevation of the southern Caribbean Islands! Captain Steve promises the weather should be beautiful for the first ginormous run of the adventure. 40 straight hours until our next port!!
