... hours. Of singing Annie songs, continuously. We settled into our hotel and dinner time and I took the girls swimming while Carrie went out and picked up some southern barbecue - yum! It was a long day but fun with lots of laughter and songs! I wish I had videoed Phoebe singing "Little Girls" she does a mean Ms. Hannagian. ... auto museums, they have a lot of old cars in various states of repair. They even have a DE Loren. I have never seen one of those close up. They also had a 66 Mustang in good shape and a 61 Corvette, but not the convertible I'm used to seeing, so it really didn't grab me. Between the two museums, the Churchill one was by far the best, but if you're into old cars, make a stop at Auto World in Fulton.

... My alternator was now charging both the chassis and the RV battery with the same current. This can cause one battery to be overcharged and potentially 'cook' the battery. After driving several miles I stopped and got out my tools and undid the temporary patch wire that they installed. I decided I could go several days on the existing battery and then I would have to stay at an RV park that had electrical hookups to recharge the RV batteries. I ...

... 36. In less than an hour down the road, the terrain is as flat as can be. Such a change!

Beltway around Denver had no traffic and we got on Route 70 East at 7 AM- the highway that we will be on the rest of the trip!
