Today we spent the day travelling from Canada to America. We spent the first part of our drive watching Love Actually while we were travelling through Canada and when we crossed the border and made our way into America, we went through Buffalo in New York State and Pennsylvania. One of Jan and Terry’s projects had been the restoration of a ’74 VW Beetle convertible (close to our hearts and brought back memories of our beach buggy days). Patrick had the privilege of driving the yellow bug to the local Rocky River Reservation the next morning for a two mile walk through the woods before breakfast. Jan had various pre-arranged appointments so Terry suggested a drive into the heart of Cleveland to see the sights. ...

... I looked at the tickets I realized they were for the 5th instead of the 4th. I was devastated!!! We had everything all planned out and this just ruined everything. We went to the ticket office at the stadium and they were nice enough to switch our tickets for tonight's game (for a small additional charge of $72.).
