This drive today involved about 200 miles of I-40 that we did not traverse on our trip out here due to deviations to see Palo Duro Canyon and Roswell. It still seemed like the scenery was somewhat redundant. Maybe some of it is because we have both become very tired. So tired, ...
... so one day I put in 86 octane and the next 88, which I hope averages out to 87. If I remember correctly, 87 is the octane in CA. Does anyone have input on whether I should be using 86 or 88 octane gas?

... it was such a relief to get to the hotel.
Out for dinner with a couple of Aussie's we had met along the way - such nice people. However, we could notn buy a drink as it was Sunday in Oklahoma and the bar was shut. So, after dinner, it was back to the hotel. The reception staff, Shawn had kindly driven us to the restaurant and then came back and collected all of us.
To Amarillo tomorrow - bring on Texas
