A travel blog entry by sethfield on May 02, 2015

As my time in Columbus came to an end, I made a daylong excursion to the Civil War prison site at Andersonville, an hour to the east of Fort Benning. The prison site itself consisted of little more than an open field with scattered memorials and other prison key points such as Wirz's Headquarters and the famous Providence Spring, but the guided tour of the site was very informative ...

On a lighter note, we are traveling with Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-Ins, Dives. It's fun to find his funky food recommendations throughout the country. His choicest places are definitely not "5-Star Restaurants" or so-called "chains" but, rather, joints that specialize in scratch-made, delicious comfort foods, prepared by homegrown restaurateurs!

... thrown into the fray of crazy people trying to grab insignificant items for a few dollars. Just the combination of the people and intense atmosphere made me want to punch the nearest person in the face for almost no reason. I have been assured by Ible that our shopping experience should not be like that. So, I am looking forward to tomorrow morning and whatever it may bring.
