... and then joined Mike and the girls who were tubing down the "rapids" on the river that passes from one end of the campground to the other. We had a lot of fun.

... and we arrived to find several other Loopers. John cleaned fuel filters here, and Sue and Pat relaxed in preparation to commence travel on the Erie Canal. We viewed several You Tube videos of proper lock-through techniques and the various types of tie-ups to the locks in the Canal. The next day we got our chance to experience seven locks - all being mid-ship ties around poles in the lock walls. Sue and Pat did and admirable job in the rain that started to come ...

We arrived here around 4:30 pm and are now settling in for the night. It was a great ride and we put on 221 miles today. It was relaxing, we took our time --- that's what is nice about being retired --- you can take your time.
The RV part is part of the Oneida Indian Nation reservation ---- very very nice, quiet and just relaxing. Stay tuned for more tomorrow. XXXOOO ...
