After a sensible start at about 9 am and a short drive up the Bruce Highway, I find myself at a golf course north of Caloundra at Nambour. I must have caddied well on Sunday as today I was presented with a bag of golf clubs and invited to try and hit a ball around a stunning course in rainforest. Now, I haven't wielded golf clubs for over 15 years and my dad and Dean play twice a week so, of course, I had to accept.

... to meet some friends for coffee and was just passing through. I told him I would wait here while he disappeared and returned with his camera. So creepy.
While Peter was gone the man and his daughter caught up to me. He seemed pretty normal and said g’day. He told me they were on their way to sunbathe. I said that was nice and they kept walking. Peter was back with his camera now and ready for a pic. I clicked the button and made my escape.

Surfers Paradise, not a paradise but ok for surfin
... so much to see. And we did spend about an hour just feeding the kangaroos!
As I said at the beginning of the post, we leave Noosa in the morning, when we will be heading to Rainbow Beach ready for our Fraser Island trip which we are both really excited about! Sunbathing, swimming in lakes and driving about on the sand in a 4x4, should be wicked!

... on the gossip and years of living since last contact occurred with them in 1981. The route we took to Nambour was via the D’aguilar highway through Blackbutt, Moore, and Kilcoy onto the Kilcoy-Beerwah road then along the range to Nambour. It was a real eye opener for scenery and lots of different views of farmland and the ocean.
