After drinking that god awful stuff called GOON it was a miracle that I even woke up! I will never drink that stuff again, or never that much! We woke up at 6.30am to set off for just after 7 for our big day of canoeing and walking to the sand patch in the Everglades. We had spaghetti and meatballs on 2 slices of bread and butter, it was edible but disgusting! Then we set off for a 7km canoe ride to the camp to do a 6km walk to the ...

... the shopping park where the cafe is! Doh! It was bang on 8am when we got in the cafe and started work! Daryl: I jumped in the kitchen to help out, I made some triple chocolate brownies which came out pretty good. I had a little clean up of some shelves and did some washing up and that's about it. ... to a lack of water and sleep over the past few days! We all ploughed on though and got through it. We kept each other going and there was a lot of good humour involved. It was fairly steady for most of the day with short busy periods, it was a nice day to finish the show on. (All the oddball customers were out today, some of the questions asked by people are just completely mind blowing!) people also need to cheer up! Jeez! The gates closed for the day at 4pm, ...

... time of 8am, then there was an influx of people straight away and it helped us get into the swing of things, warm up and get the feeling back in our toes! Possibly the highlight of the morning was an old chap heading over to the register only to say "good morning young lady" to Daryl standing at the register (with full beard)!! Apparently there was a glare and he got confused! We all thought it ...

... customers. Daryl was on the register today, Sophie was helping Drue and Chris make the coffees! It was a nice day, it warmed up a little during late morning and the sun eventually came out in force by midday and it was beautiful. We had a busy day, nice and steady for most of the time and all customers were pretty normal and nice and friendly! There was 1 or 2 rude and awkward people but then again it wouldn't be right if there wasn't. .... Drue and Chris treated us to a couple ...
