Drizzly and hot this morning. I walked around the campground and drove over to the lock and dam. Visitor Center was closed so I couldn't ask my Arkansas River questions. No boats in sight today. Drove into Russellville and had a ham & eggs breakfast at Stoby's in a replica of a train dining car with model trains traveling around the ...

Snap & Angela educated them to the delights of Bundaberg Rum (Snap & Ange have a bottle each on board) and they in turn let us sample their 'Apple Pie' liqueur. A very nice drop ...

... edge of my boot sole getting very intimate with the pavement :-o One section of the trip I saw two deer on my side on the road but they turned and bounded off into the forest. I thought to myself that's how I like my deer. then I turned a corner and standing in the middle of MY lane was a deer....Brake!!! needless to say I didn't hit it.

Yep got poured on but then as fast as it came it went leaving me to blow-dry myself dry.
Moved this morning from the dirty motel to a wonderful 'cabin' up by the Ozark Folk Center. Is run by the State so it's very clean (picture tomorrow - too tired today). I am currently sitting in one of the two rocking chairs. There are two double beds and floor to ceiling windows on three sides.
          It is very ...
