... chicken and chips covered in cheese and bacon. Amazing! Why don't they do this at home?

The next day we were feeling refreshed and ready to hit the city again. So we got the train in from Rye to Grand Central. As Topshop was quite nearby we thought we'd go in and see what was on our gift cards and spend them. After all there was a guaranteed $20 on every card so free money! It's only night one away from the kids, as they are all off with their billeting families, but it's looking good. We'll check in with them tomorrow. Hopefully they like it as much as we do!

... us back to Manhattan. We did pass Walt Whitman Park, though, which was cool. Not because I'm familiar with his work, but because his name is mentioned a fair bit on Breaking Bad. How cultured of me.

After managing to find the station, we got the subway all the way back to Penn Station, and from there just a short walk back to the hotel before we were in our room. Our hotel had a roof-top bar which overlooked the Empire State Building, and we said from the day ...

Guss Pickles has gone and Tong Fu Wang seafood imports are taking over everywhere. The Jewish Tailors are struggling. However we are accosted by a little man with a scull cap purporting to have an English wife from Stamford Hill N16. We are "lured" into his outfitters and shown an horrific white check blazer. We beat a hasty retreat ...... KATZ DINER ...
