Here is a brief summary of the things that we've done since my dad's death (in no particular order).
- We got my mom and dad's house ready to sell: So that meant, painting, goodwill runs, garage sales, donations, storage units runs, cleaning. Sometimes screaming, sometimes yelling, sometimes crying and sometimes laughing...Give us a break though...it was only a few weeks after my dad ...
... Nascar Hall of Fame, and Charlotte motor speedway. Actually, it was Bec's idea to do the drive in 2 shifts and have a day in Charlotte, so I have to thank her for thinking outside the box on that one.
We managed to split the driving pretty much 50/50 today so we are both a little road weary. No photos either. Photo's of being between 2 semi trailers on the interstate don't make for good viewing. I can assure you that tomorrows photos will make up for the lack of shots today.

Reluctantly left Jacksonville Beach EARLY on Sunday morning. Wanted to get on the road before the other Snowbirds leaving Florida got on the road (We had seen and been stuck in MAJOR traffic jams leaving Florida at the end of March). Left hotel at 6:00 AM. ... a chance to meet and speak with interested students. I was warned that not much comes from it in terms of prospectives and not much did. There were some good conversations. But most of the seniors (I had all seniors at my table) were really stuck between more school, working, or going overseas to volunteer. No one I spoke with was anywhere near certain on wanting to pursue theological education. Hopefully tomorrow's visit to Pfeiffer will help make up some for ...
