... definitely got less wake than we did and slept a lot better. They have been living on their boats for two years now. A trawler came up and anchored really close to us and seemed to be lecturing his companion on how to properly set a chain. He had all the closest boats watching his actions carefully because seemed to let out a lot of chain to be so close to everyone. Marty asked how much chain he had put out and he replied 50 feet- everyone else had 40 max because it was ...

... discovered that around the little island the water was about 40 feet deep so we would have had to go up the river quite a bit instead). We checked our distance from the crab pots and the fish pots and set anchor in the cove with another boat in the same situation as us. It ended up being a bad move after all. The wind did not die down, the fetch got worse and by dark we had three foot chop. We had to tie up the wheel to stop it from smashing... we didn't want to lock ...

Morning walk at the High Line. Park walkway converted from a disused railway track.

Drove south. Stopped for lunch at Mt Laurel.

Then south again to Chesapeake City but couldn't find a room there.

Found an inn at Georgetown called the Kitty Knight Inn. It is supposedly haunted by a good ghost called Knitty Knight. She saved the house and a neighbours house from being burnt down by the British raiders.

... for people who like to travel, but its easier to get to some places than others. The East and West Coasts of the USA are split, with very little cross-over between the two. The East coast Air Bases service Countries Across the Atlantic, and the West Coast Services the Pacific, so you see my dilemma as I have to go west, if I want to go East to Japan. Mind boggling! Dover, and Andrews are the best bases to make the trek across the Midwest. They Service multiple types ...
