We walked along the river walk part of the way there. When we arrived there were only a few people in the bar. We went into the back and sat at the table. They were long tables with benches like the Hofbrau House in Munich. Larry had a liter of Hofbrau Dunkel and Derek had a half-liter each of ...

... new drink called "Sparks". It's a "malt beverage" (essentially beer) with extra flavourings - Ice Tea, Lemonade or Blackberry. Their promotion was "Sparks is better than everything" and you could go up and drink something gross, followed by a Sparks, and say which is better. Sparks always came off on top, obviously... I had a free sample, it was terrible! (sorry Jo - thought they might be on to something!)
