    ... us a few choices, but one stood out…it sounded very unique and we were intrigued!

    Jim drove us back pretty much past where we had slept and to a place called Sprague’s Maple Farm. Hopefully the pictures will do it justice! Driving up to it reminded me of a country club…little pond, very beautiful, surrounded my forest. They make their own Maple Syrup and have their own Turkeys.

    It was good to see places I haven't been to in Alaska before. Anchorage was the only repeat. Watching the glaciers calve was awesome. Just listening to them crack was awesome!!!     We slept in late, which was good. We had a six hour drive home. Oh no, six hours with Garmin and Kim telling me how to drive. Because it was a holiday weekend, there were a lot of cops on the Ohio highways. After a few close calls, I slowed down a little. After I got through Columbus, I turned Garmin off. I could not find the off switch for Kim, so she back-seat drove for most of the trip!!!

    Last year, when we were in a tent at 13,000 feet, Kim had a bad case of altitude sickness. We had been power driving for two days to get into the Himalayas.
