This morning we said goodbye to Tom and Natalie and a few others who were doing the North by North East tour. It was sad to see them go and they will be sorely missed. Tom has already said I can visit him in Melbourne. (Next Contiki trip to Australia) We had a very quick journey this morning which took us to Milwaukee where we stopped at a farmers market for lunch. This was amazing. I love a food market! We were given almost 2 hours to wander around and grab some lunch ...

"You guys wanna Mustang, I got the keys to one outside!!", ERR... HELL YES!!! "Sure, let me go grab the keys ...

Lions, and tigers and bears...oh, my! We began our morning visiting the Lincoln Zoo. All of the animals were great but I was soooo excited to see the gorillas! I haven't seen a gorilla in person since the San Antonio Zoo sold our gorilla to San Diego when I was young. (Yes...I'm still a little bitter.) These gorillas did not disappoint. There was jumping, swinging, and staring...and the gorillas ...

First things first...we had a leak free day today, all water stayed in our bottles until we drank it. A first one this trip. After yesterday's walking marathon today was much more sedate, this morning we did some 'travelling maintenance' - booking flights, checking train times and schedules etc etc. For lunch we had 'dogs' from a place so local we couldn't understand a word they said and after asking them to repeat it a few times we gave ...
