Getting here took the better part of a day and a half. The flights were long but tolerable. I was not looking forward to the L.A. To Brisbane flight but it was not as bad as I thought. We spent time walking through other areas of the museum but, of course, there is never enough time. After the museum, Aunt Linda spent the afternoon enjoying coffee and shopping. ... ordered blindly off the menu - the result was not bad. The afternoon was fairly low key before we headed out for our first 'man vs food' experience of the trip - Gino's East Chicago Pizza, the original deep dish pizza pie. When they say pie they mean it. Firstly the crust is like a pie crust instead of bread, but secondly it is filled extremely deep. The first slice filled us, the second made us start to feel sick. Armed with our ...
