... tell the of Pied Piper. The clock is old and imported from Germany. Then we went for a WORLD FAMOUS CHICKEN DINNER at Zehnders Bavarian Inn. Still stuffed from lunch and it's 9 PM.

... to the 1600s. Finally I have met her in person.
We left Emmett this morning in the rain but by the time we hit Flint it had stopped. We first came across a model boat race going on at Kelly Lake in Burton Town, outskirts of Flint. I spied it from the I-69 and we sought it out. Great fun. We watched maybe a half dozen races, two or three different levels of boats. Boy, do they go fast. Denis learned ...

... a canvas canopy to protect you from the sun and the rain, but for some reason they didn't put in any type of anti-mosquito devices. Oh, well, nothing is perfect.

Tomorrow we plan to hit the road and find some more antique stores along the way. We'll cross over into Ohio early in the morning and we plan to stop in Maumee, Ohio, which boasts one of the largest antique malls in the country. We'll see.

... made out of tyres. Also - I'm becoming less shocked by the size of the meals - I still leave more than half on the plate so the waste is terrible. Glen and I spent a lovely relaxing day at home with Leigh. We saw more squirrels and we suspect that at one stage, Dakota was chasing a chipmunk. ... to another. Lets just say we were working with a Haitian group of men now known as "the fab 5", they were incredible. Their work ethic was unreal. After every task we gave them, they asked for more. They completed each thing with talent and pride. It was wonderful to watch and be able to work along side of them.
