... actually had the key for the bike lock with us so we rode our bikes on the less traveled roads of the Chickamauga Battlefield in the relatively cool morning hours. Had a covered dish and meeting with 10K members and then went into Chattanooga for a concert in the park on the river.
We have visited Chattanooga before so we had already seen the Aquarium, Chattanooga Choo Choo, and Incline Railroad.
... Coolidge Park and the carousel that Bud Ellis and his woodworker colleagues restored and continue to maintain. Bud was there to tell us all about it... and then we had a ride on the beautifully restored animals. The park itself was beautiful with fountains, flowering trees, a a walk along the river.
