We made it to Cleveland Monday evening and stayed downtown so we'd be closer to the rock n roll hall of fame. We were on a tight schedule and didn't get but an hour to tour which is not remotely enough time. We had tickets to the gran ole opry Tuesday evening so we were going to have to hustle ...

We had a wonderful day with a morning visit to Richard's daughter, Amy, who has cerebral palsy and spends her work days at a wonderful facility called the Pieters Life Center. Lee and Larry shucked them without incident. That was no small feat if you were to watch them. We finished off the last few as oysters Rockefeller, and the stubborn ones were grilled and when opened Lee splashed then ...

... we went. We made it, found a place to park right outside the stadium for $20 and headed inside. A very nice modern ball park, nicely laid out. We found our seats , right behind home plate. It turned out that it was $1 hotdog night. And a postgame fireworks display. They were awesome seats and The Indians easily handled the NY Mets 8-1 including a grand slam. Very exciting. During the 7th inning stretch they play a slightly modified Hang on Sloopy. Everyone ...
