It was around 10.30 pm and we headed inside to find an empty bar with only one chick inside, sitting, with a cash tin on her lap, at the top of a flight of stairs, that were unusually placed in the centre of the room. We approached and explained that we were there for the jam session. She let us know that it didn't start until midnight but that there was ...

After cleaning up we had a great dinner at the refuge where we split a bottle of red wine and relaxed watching the sunset in the mountains.

The next morning we met a young couple who were visiting from Bilbao to hike the mountains, and they quickly became good friends. Instead of taking the ...

The cold snap finally broke and after two days of layers and wind, we finally got to take our ***********. This isn't our first time in Madrid, we spent a week here three years ago. This is however, the first time we explored The Prado, Parque del Buen Retiro and the Real Jardin Botanico. It was also the first time we took one of those goofy double decker tourist buses. We discovered that we had pretty ...
