Woke up to pounding rain. There is a hurricane going over us. We had planned to leave today. Rain and wind are so heavy we decided to stay another day. Thank you Mike and Kelly for your hospitality. The smell of char grilled steak wafted through the carpark, beckoning us into the Tex-Mex diner. Yee ha! I really was in Texas now! We spent the day paddling, resting while floating in the boats, picnicking, and lolly gagging in the water. It was a hot, sunny, and very beautiful day! We had a ball!



We love this lake. We plan to go here a lot more in the future.
