I should be heading to the airport right now, but the Air France pilots' strike cancelled my flight to Paris, twice. Re-booking again, at best, would have caused me to fly into Kinshasa just to spend the night and leave the next morning....

So I plan to try again in November.

We bought a truck to carry the camper today! It needs a little work, but seems basically strong. Once we get it travel-ready, we need to go to Arizona to pick up the camper.

In other news today, we also decided to rent out our house (rather than selling), and selected a property management company.

A huge progress day!

... getting out of Nice. Our tour manager worked hard to see that we were taken care of -- three meals and a nice hotel at the expense of Iberia Airlines. And several of our group spent time on the beach for another day. I was just ready to come home.

The whole trip went exactly as I expected -- I loved and cherished the musical experiences: I don't expect to have another opportunity to sing with European orchestras, or at least it will be a long time. ...

... Bottom line, this little old lady had a touch of Alzheimer's. We were just happy to that we could help her out.

... really because he hated the separation), but there was a handle on the life jacket. We could easily pick him up and toss him on board.




We spent the day paddling, resting while floating in the boats, picnicking, and lolly gagging in the water. It was a hot, sunny, and very beautiful day! We had a ball!



We love this lake. We plan to go here a lot more in the future.
