... our own table at the restaurant. Last time we had shared with the loveable Gwens. The menu is exactly the same as the other MSC ship which is disappointing. We thought all the ships would have their own menus. We decided not to go to the theatre tonight.
We had hoped for a quiet night but we were not fortunate. Both neighbour's were party animals! We set our clocks forward an hour.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAMANTHA! Hope you have a wonderful day.
Of course thd day started with a few hundred steps up the hill to a huge market.
It sold every gype of food imaginable. Different types of snails. Little and big shell fish of various shapes. Large Sparda/sword fish to little green slimy ones.
Of course fruit and vegies, zucchini flowers in abundance.
Called into the odd roman ruin and finished the morning on graffiti ...

We walked one of the historic areas today.
Up lots of stairs to watch towers. The archeological museum, the local council palazzo! It was grandiose, mitcham would give an arm and a leg for such opulence.

Walked down to the port. ...

... door and the restaurant we ate at people had to go between the tables to get to their front door.
We had a typical Sardinian starter -troufe and dried mullet fish roe. It was delicious.
At the end of the meal and English couple from Worcester started talking to us and invited us to stay with them! Fairly casual.
The restaurants typically dont start til 8pm and keep going until god knows what time.
Hope u had a nice time in Cairns Beth and Kevin.

... things: mosquito bites, long car rides, and all the ants (for some reason there are a ridiculous amount of ants near our villa). I’d have a hard time choosing a favorite…the beaches were amazing, the towns were beautiful, and we all had an unforgettable time here. Sardinia was a great beginning to our journey and a successful first home exchange!

This morning we pack up our things and head to Rome! We are looking forward to more adventures ...
