Wasted so much time and energy that it was already starting
to get dark – much as I really wanted to check out Dirty Old Man, a bar with
microbrews, I was thwarted and had to head to a super for some generic rubbish –

I arrived at the terminal at 7:15pm and waited in a very long queue. I'm not sure if I'd caught the after work rush or what as there'd been no queue the previous day but I was soon able to jump it as a 'Porto ...

Oh Brasil... I do not know when I will be back. Still so much more of you to see, of course, but, to steal from Maya Angelou, it is not that I will necessarily remember what you said or what I saw, it is how you make me feel. To my wonderful Brazilian friends, Vivienne, Cristiane, Diego and everyone else, thankyou so much.

Until next time, or perhaps if you come to visit,

I picked up a yellow FIFA brazil shirt and alongside my green jacket allowed me to pass for an Aussie fan and we went to the station. We has seats behind the goal, near the ...
