      ... front promenade and let me tell you, it was magnificent. There was so much happening it's like a mini carnival that never leaves. I drove a car for the first time around a racing track whilst my brother drove a mini quad bike around another track! You couldn't wipe the smiles off out faces and man, it takes a lot more concentration to drive around in circles with your little brother riding shotgun than I thought.       ... any serious damage to the car. The rest of our road trip was reasonable in eventful apart from experiencing one of the most surreal moments of my life.       ... I wasn't impressed as we have similar at home. However certain individuals in the group convinced me to reach down & touch one, obviously ensuring it was the highest part of the barrier I had to lean over so I was off the ground before I could reach them, nearly falling in!       Mad dogs, Englishmen...and I...go out in the midday sun! The weather has been a scorcher since I arrived and I overdid it a little on my first day, with an exploratory wander when birds and workmen alike were taking shelter in any available shade! I found my shade at a local oceanarium, which was a little naff but the tiny turtles were cute!
