Last night we took the red-eye bus ride along with many others, boarding at 8:00pm. We settled in for a long night as best we could. Soon after the bus got started we understood why the ride was going to take so very long: we were heading west, back towards Acapolco! ... Next, to the Internet to cancel cards. Tomorrow, to the consulate. Oh well.
Only lost money, no violence or threats, and only a ding in my spirit. They missed my i-Phone. It took nothing away from the delightful connections and conversations with Amado and Bety.
Tomorrow, in the markets, I will keep my wallet closer at hand.

The kids were friendly, well-mannered and fun. It was quite emotional to see a baby there along with toddlers and Maria says that sometimes they have them from three months.
